The first Broadband Maritime South East Asia Conference, held in February 2009, was the first departure of the Global VSAT Forum (GVF)/UK Event Management Partners (UK-EMP) Partnership beyond the communications conferences it has organized for the Oil & Gas vertical market since 2006. After eight conferences for the energy industry, as well as one for the maritime vertical, comes the 2nd Annual, Broadband Maritime South East Asia Conference (BMSEAC). BMSEAC will examine the widespread deployment of advanced communications technologies and services that are constantly accessible anywhere at sea, with a particular focus on the following key subject areas:
- Access to applications and networks
- New service provisioning
- Key hardware technology developments
